My Opinion About HotPornComics:
I enjoy expanding my horizons, and what I love about Hot Porn Comics is that it has a lot more flexibility than your typical reality hardcore sites. Not only do you get wicked and fantastical stories, but also there are basically no boundaries at all when it comes to toons.
HotPornComics.com is similar to other sites in that it promises to have the sexiest of all toons, but then what site doesn't promote itself as the best and biggest? When I arrive in the members' area, I do get a bit excited though. There's a huge list of recent content, which updates every two days, and there are seven different categories. Across the board there are five 3D comics, one 3D art set, 43 cartoons, 1,046 comics, five hentai, 447 manga and 60 animations.
The support link is readily available in case you have any problems, but the animations run in an embedded flash player and I don't' foresee any difficulties with anything, particularly the images. Animations include solo themes, tentacle sex, bukkake and BDSM, but they aren't as elaborate as some other toon sites. In fact, other than a short video by Jack Black's band, Tenacious D, they really aren't movies at all. Some are interactive and others simply have a little bit of movement, like tentacles pushing in and out of a pussy. There are different player sizes, but I really couldn't tell you the bitrate.
The 3D art and 3D comics weren't really all that fantastic, but then I'm guessing it's because I'm so used to those CGI images on the big screen. The art is very amateurish and I know that I've seen better 3D images on other sites. However, HotPornComics offers much higher quality artwork and storylines in the other categories.
There aren't any .zip files to download, which is unfortunate since this is predominantly an image-based site. Also, there aren't any good search features other than the categories. I think the site could do with offering up a keyword or title or even artist search for those members who are complete toon connoisseurs.
Cartoons usually have around 10 images, and some of them are pencil-drawn while others are in colour. These have more humour than the rest of the categories where you'll discover a wide variety of styles. The comics were my favourite category, but the manga images were a pretty close second. The Comics generally contained anything between 20 and 150 images, and they were at least 800 pixels. Again, I wasn't able to figure out the size of each panel, and the reason for this was because I couldn't download a damn thing. This was probably the single most disappointing thing about the site.
Anyhow, the renderings are sometimes great, and other times it seems as if the image itself is a little fuzzy. There are pulp stories, adventures, sci-fi, comedies and a lot of other strips with all sorts of themes and hardcore from classic to bondage. Some artists include Chuck Austen, Paul Gillon, Chiyoji Tomo and Glenn Danzig, whose Satanika series was by far the most incredible work on the site.
Final Verdict:
When so many toon sites offer downloads, it's hard to believe that Hot Porn Comics doesn't offer even one, and in my opinion this seriously hurts the overall score. To make matters worse the images aren't particularly clear and I often felt myself squinting to read. There's no doubt that there is a lot of content, but I really can't see paying nearly thirty dollars for mediocre quality.
